Despite sunshine breaking  through in the afternoon weights were low following rain all night and then a torrential downpour for 40 minutes prior to the match . Jim on peg 11 fished 14 metres while Kurt on peg 18 hedged his bets by going for the silver net and won that with 11 lb.
