Ground frost greeted us on this bitterly cold day and  fish had gone deep again which suited Gavin on peg 32 fishing into open water and feeding lightly with pellet. With the nights drawing in early the match ran from 10am  - 3pm.

With temperature's dropping and fish going deeper winter tactics were being used today with light feeding with pellet and maggots .
Gavin fished 14 metres in deep water between the islands to land mainly carp to 5lb with F1s and 16lb of Barbel and skimmers.
