Frank fished 14metres early to land just 3 carp but with wind sleet and snow for the rest of the day making fishing uncomfortable came in to 9 metres to narrowly beat Dave by 1lb who was fishing micro pellet feeder with bread on the hook .

Frank fished long using pellet and maggots with Cliff starting at  6 metres changing to  14.5 metres to the island using 4ml soft pellet ...while Mick landed 3 fish fishing long on pellet then had better luck after changing tactics by coming in close down the edge with 3 red maggot on a size 16 hook .
Paul had best silvers with 52lb 8oz by default to Frank .
